Pioneers in Dental Implants

More than 20 years ago, our practice became pioneers in dentistry when we trademarked the term TeethToday® to describe our “immediate loading” procedure.

In the early 2000s we began routinely replacing single teeth, several teeth or an entire mouthful of teeth for patients— all in one day. Our patients left our office with teeth, which was a new and unique service from us beginning in 1997, more than 20+ years ago. We have more experience and a longer track record of providing this service than almost any other office in the US!

The alternative methods of implant dentistry provided at that time and still used by the majority of dentists and specialists today was to wait months for implant healing before placing temporary or permanent teeth. We refined and proved that waiting for full healing was not necessary to use freshly placed implants in many cases. In fact, we now know that sometimes we get even better results with TeethToday compared to traditional methods.

Today, thousands of patients later, we are still thrilled to see patients come in with failing or missing teeth and leave our office the same day with beautiful new smiles. With TeethToday® (also now known as All-0n-4, SameDay Smile and similar names) we can help provide new teeth whether you are missing them from gum disease, trauma, sports injuries, or infections.

We are also set up and committed to seeing emergency patients with failed or fractured teeth the same day and, when possible, sending them home looking good with new teeth on implants.

Detailed Planning

When treating more complex cases like replacing a full arch or mouth of teeth, we engage in detailed conversations with you and conduct individualized planning with special diagnostic technology to assure success.

That helps us identify the best locations in the jawbone to place dental implants, maximizing success and minimizing healing time, pain and trauma. On the day of the procedure, our skilled specialists and entire support team know exactly what the plan is to provide you with beautiful replacement teeth that will offer maximum support.

We commonly remove any failing or diseased teeth and place implants the same day, utilizing functional, attractive, temporary new teeth. Once the implant posts fully integrate with your jawbone, (a natural process called osseointegration that can take several weeks or months), you’ll come back to us or your restorative dentist to have final restoration teeth permanently attached, using a prosthesis (crown or permanent bridge) that looks and functions just like natural teeth.

We do not recommend placement of permanent teeth the same day as implant placement for many reasons and invite you to discuss them with us when considering treatment options.

Some Highlights of TeethToday:

  • You come to us with a damaged or missing tooth or teeth and leave with a beautiful new, functional smile
  • You’ll have the renewed ability to chew tasty, healthy foods (in lieu of the softer, perhaps less nutritious diet you had been forced to employ)
  • You can go out in the world with more confidence. Studies confirm that an attractive smile is a true confidence-booster!
  • Your renewed, normal chewing will help keep your jawbone stimulated, preventing bone loss and the premature facial sagging and aging appearance common with denture wearers
  • Our strategic planning of the implants usually means we can avoid the additional time, cost and recovery of bone grafts
  • TeethToday new teeth are completely natural looking. People will notice your beautiful smile but not detect you’ve had special dental treatment

Our expert dental specialists utilize the latest, proven technology and the highest-grade materials in a beautiful, comforting environment where you’ll feel pampered, well-informed and assured you are in the best place! If dental anxiety is an issue for you, we  provide many sedation options.
