We fully understand that some patients are worried about potential exposure during the COVID-19 outbreak. But we want to assure you that we are doing everything possible to mitigate any risk of transmission.
South Florida Center for Periodontics & Implant Dentistry has undertaken numerous infection control measures that far exceed guidelines from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and American Dental Association (ADA). As a matter of fact, as reported in a recent NPR article titled “The Dentist Will See You Now. But Should You Go?” leaders in the study of infectious disease report “no confirmed cases of COVID-19 transmitted in a dental office so far.”
Our enhanced safety measures go well beyond our already meticulous standards to create the safest possible environment for our patients and team members. Some of these steps include:
No matter what’s happening out there, we’re here for you. With four board-certified periodontists on our team, we’ve always got a doctor on call for any emergencies, even now during the pandemic. Should you experience any difficulties after regular business hours, please contact us at 561-912-9993, Ext, 8. One of our doctors will call you right back.
Don’t Neglect Your Oral Health!
A healthy mouth can indicate a healthy body. Don’t compromise your ability to fight off infection by not addressing possible gum (gingivitis or periodontitis) infection. Now, more than ever, it’s critical you make sure you address any concerns or issues. And remember, your safety —and comfort—are always our top priorities.
Thank you for your continued confidence in our practice!
