Dental Emergency Care

Prompt Emergency Dental Care

With five doctors at the South Florida Center for Periodontics & Implant Dentistry, there’s always someone on call for emergencies. Patients who call after hours can speak to a periodontist by phone. During regular office hours, we make time in our schedules for patients with urgent needs. Our goal is to see emergency cases promptly, alleviate symptoms to make you comfortable and provide necessary treatment.

Intense pain or bleeding are generally signs of a dental emergency. It’s important to seek care right away, even if you experience dental anxiety, because any damage done can be minimized. We’re sensitive to our patients’ needs and offer sedation options to minimize pain and put you at ease. Common dental emergency cases include:

  • Fractured or lost teeth
  • Nerve damage to tooth
  • Signs of infection including pain, swelling or mobility
  • Excessive bleeding
  • Intense, sharp pain

During business hours, if questions or concerns arise, you may call our office at 561-912-9993.
